Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 20, 2026

Kynective Media Network is a registered operating name of 1000220635 Ontario Ltd. Kynective is its flagship narrative-media brand. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we use it and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

  • Information you provide. When you use our contact form or email us, we may receive your name, email address, organization and the information included in your message.
  • Technical and security information. Our hosting platform, WordPress and website security services may record information such as your Internet Protocol address, browser and device type, requested pages, referral source, timestamps and security events. This information is used to operate and protect the website.
  • Media interactions. The site uses video and audio content from services including YouTube and Vimeo. When embedded media loads or plays, those providers may receive technical information about your device and interaction and may use cookies or similar technologies under their own privacy policies.

How we use information

We use personal information to respond to inquiries, discuss potential work, prepare proposals, maintain business relationships, operate and secure the website, improve the experience of visitors and meet legal or regulatory requirements. We do not sell personal information.

Consent and your choices

When you submit information through the contact form or contact us directly, you consent to its use for the purpose of responding to and managing that communication. A contact inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing messages. You may withdraw consent, subject to reasonable notice and any legal or contractual requirements.

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask questions about how it has been used. You may also request deletion where we are not required to retain the information.

Service providers and third parties

We use service providers for website hosting, email delivery, security and website operations. They may process information only as required to provide those services or meet legal obligations. Some providers may process information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.

Embedded media and links may connect you with third-party services, including Google and YouTube, Vimeo, LinkedIn and Instagram. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies.

Cookies

The website and its security tools may use cookies that are necessary for site operation, administration and protection. Embedded media may also set cookies or use similar technologies when content loads or plays.

We do not currently use advertising cookies or intentionally place analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and add any consent controls that are required. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although blocking some cookies may affect embedded media or other parts of the website.

Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably required for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain a business relationship, meet legal or contractual requirements, or protect the website. Information that is no longer required is deleted, de-identified or securely disposed of according to our retention practices.

Safeguards

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or disclosure. No online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children

This website is intended for a professional and general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our website, services or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of the page identifies the latest version.
